What are clear aligners?
Clear aligners are a series of custom-made, nearly invisible trays that gently and gradually move your teeth into their ideal position. You wear each set for a week or two, then move to the next — straightening your smile without the brackets and wires of traditional braces.
How long does treatment take?
Most patients complete clear aligner treatment in roughly six to eighteen months, depending on how much movement is needed. After a quick evaluation, we can give you a personalized timeline so you know exactly what to expect from start to finished smile.
Are clear aligners comfortable?
Yes. Aligners are made of smooth, custom-fit plastic with no metal to irritate your cheeks or gums. You may feel light pressure for a day or two with each new set — a sign your teeth are moving — but most patients find them very easy to wear day to day.
Can I eat and drink normally?
That is one of the best parts. Because aligners are removable, you simply take them out to eat, drink, brush, and floss — so there are no food restrictions. For the best results, wear them about twenty to twenty-two hours a day and put them back in right after meals.

From digital planning to keeping your results
Our original treatment information includes SureSmile and Invisalign options. A Primescan 3-D scan records your teeth and bite, and planning software helps your dentist map the proposed tooth movements. Your dentist will explain which system and plan fit your needs.
Check-ins during treatment
Regular appointments let your dentist monitor progress and provide upcoming sets of aligners. Follow your individual instructions for wear time, tray changes, and visit frequency rather than changing the plan on your own.
What happens after the last aligner?
Retainers are an important part of maintaining your alignment. Your team will provide a custom retainer plan and explain when to wear them, how to care for them, and when to return for follow-up. Retainers help limit unwanted shifting after active treatment.
